This cottage is an intimate apartment style retreat.
Getting there
After you leave reception, you follow the directions along a path that takes you down through the old original gardens to the front verandah of the Country house.
This is your private and exclusive entry to the apartment
The country house is a three story building constructed on a sloping hill.
In affect, each level of the building is built into the hill, so all levels have a ground level private entry private verandah.
The country house, which is over a 100 years was recently renovated to bring it back to its glorious guest house days.

The entire interior of the building was completely renovated two years ago, however we maintained the exterior of the building as it would have looked back in the 1900's.
Whilst the ground level verandah was rebuilt back to its original grandeur, the interior was changed from a number of small guest rooms to become a spacious comfortable apartment.
It has been decorated and furnished in a period style that was reminiscent to those times.
It is not long before you feel completely at ease.
The retreat has a cosy verandah which overlooks the original gardens, paths and tree ferns.
When you enter the apartment you are struck by the special intimacy of this very romantic era
The lounge, dining and kitchen are designed as open plan living, with a doorway through to the bedroom.
Whilst there is not an open fire place, the large antique French log wood fire place is just as warm and cosy. The fire place is central to the apartment and creates the air of romance be it in the lounge, kitchen or bedroom.
The spa is also central to the bedroom, and is set next to the enticing bed, so the rest is left to your imagination.
The lounge room has a spacious comfortable lounge and cushions.
The kitchen is equipped with; gas hot plates, electric oven, microwave, fridge and the usual cutlery, dishes, glasses, the kitchen area has kitchen cupboards, sink and dining table.
The bedroom has a Queen bed.
The private ensuite/bathroom with toilet comes off the bedroom.
Air-conditioning, mood lighting, all the entertainment equipment you need such as TV,DVD's etc is on hand for your enjoyment, or you can laze away some quiet times on the cosy verandah enjoying some quality wine surrounded by natural vista of the gardens.
A romantic dinner hamper delivered to your cottage is the finishing touch to your dream experience.
The cottage has a mini bar for your convenience, a large selection of videos at reception and has access to laundry facilities and public phone.
The car park is deliberately a short distance at the bottom of the garden to ensure those precious morning sleeps remain undisturbed.
