Privacy Statement

The following rates/tariffs are correct as of October 2009 but are subject to change. Please read the cancellation policy before booking.

Rates 

Cancellation Policy

All reservations will only be confirmed on the following basis:

1. If your booking is made online, a confirmation of acceptance of your booking will be issued after the following process has been completed:

   • A completed online booking request is received by Cottages at Monreale via their online booking facility with all requested information and credit card details filled out.

   • Management has accepted and listed the booking and processed the credit card through their telephone booking system.

   • Acceptable credit cards are Visa, Mastercard, Diners and American Express. Note: Amex will incur a small surcharge of $10.00.

   • After the above process is completed - a confirmation email listing all your booking details will be sent to your email address stating your booking is confirmed. If no email address is supplied then the confirmation will be mailed to your address provided at the time of making the booking.

2. If payment for your reservation is to be made by cash, money order or by direct debit to Cottages of Monreale bank account, the booking will be confirmed when the cash or direct debit for the booking is received.

3. On arrival, you will need to proceed to reception and will be requested to complete a registration form.

4. All cancellations must be received by email clearly setting out the details of the proposed cancellation of reservation.

5. Phone cancellations will not be accepted.

6. No refunds will be made for any cancellation.

7. If a cancellation occurs 30 days prior to the arrival date of the booking and the reason is accepted by Management, then the amount paid will be transferred to a future date nominated by the guest, subject to availability and any other appropriate restriction. (ie. holiday periods and any minimum stay requirements etc.)

8. All cancellations received within 30 days (but less than 24 hours) prior to arrival will forfeit the amount that has been paid.

9. All cancellations received 24 hours prior to arrival will be charged the full amount of the booking (if not already paid) and the guest accepts that we are entitled to charge their credit card for such an amount less any monies previously paid.

Terms and Conditions

Breakfast Provisions

All tariffs include ample country produce breakfast provisions for two adults for the duration of the stay and include a selection of teas, hot chocolate, plunger coffee and chocolates. Stays of longer than two days will have provisions restocked on the third day or as required.

Chauffeur service

Due to insurance issues, we do not provide a chauffer service for guests wishing to be picked up or taken to restaurants and reception centres, we are pleased to pre-arrange and book taxis and other transport providers as and when you require.

Check In and Check Out times

Check in time is..... 3.00pm on day of arrival
Check out time is.... 11.30am on day of departure

Confirmation of your reservation

All reservations are confirmed on the day of receipt of the deposit.
We will email or post a confirmation invoice to you setting out all the details of your reservation, and will also attach a detailed brochure and provide directions on how to find us. Please check the reservation details, all discrepancies should be notified to management immediately.

Departure

Mini bar or extras must be paid on departure.
Check all cupboards to avoid leaving behind any valuables or personal belongings.
Ensure key is left in the door or handed in to reception.
Please consider completing the performance-rating sheet.

Extra persons

The tariff is for two adults; (any extra persons including children must be approved by management)
Additional persons will be charged at:

$50.00 per extra person each per night.
$25.00 extra per 3 -10 year old child each per night.
$0.00 extra per 0 to 2 year old child each per night.

Inviting your friends or other visitors to Monreale Estate

In order to preserve the peaceful ambience of the property for all our guests, we ask all guests to refrain from inviting visitors to their cottage or residence during their stay. Should you nonetheless wish to have a small number of friends or visitors for a brief daytime visit during your stay, please arrange beforehand with reception.

Liquor licence

We are licensed and make available local wines, which are available in each accommodation unit (mini bar) or at reception.

Number of Guests per cottage or retreat

Unless otherwise arranged with us, each cottage or retreat is designed to accommodate 2 people.
Magnolia country house retreat, which is a two-bedroom apartment style accommodation, can accommodate up to 4 people.
Some cottages have double sofa beds.

Smoke-free environment

All internal areas including all of the cottages and retreats are smoke free environments.
We require our guests to respect this condition and refrain totally from smoking inside.
For smokers, we have provided facilities for smokers on the decking outside of each cottage or retreat.

Privacy Statement

Monreale are also committed to protecting our guests' privacy before, during, and after their stay with us. All information remains strictly private and will not be divulged to any other unauthorised party. Your presence at Cottages at Monreale is nobody else's business. We will decline to divulge your presence here should anyone ring inquiring for you - unless instructed otherwise by you.

• Date of arrival and departure

• Estimated time of arrival
• Credit card details if paying by this method;

Newsletters and Marketing Communication

Monreale will only send you newsletters or marketing communication if you have subscribed or requested to receive them. We do not distribute mailing lists to any third party with the exception of a provider contracted by us to provide a service. If you do not wish to receive any newsletters or marketing communication from Monreale, please send us an e-mail with your request. Your details will be removed from the mailing list.
