Steeple is a unique romantic cottage with open plan living style.
Getting there
After you leave reception, follow the directions along a path that takes you beside an aged steel bridge that crosses Monreale brook, then head off on the path that takes you in the direction of Oakbrook cottage.
A short distance on this pathway, past the remnants of the old apple orchard and alongside the tree fern lined brook, you arrive at the cottage.
The cottage is overshadowed by the large oak tree across the brook, and an imposing twisted willow tree that should be no higher than 10 meters high, but stand imposingly at 15 meters next to the cosy verandah entrance to the cottage.
Surrounded in tree ferns, it is not long before you can feel at peace with the world.
The cottage has a cosy verandah at the front door which overlooks the tree fern lined brook and the gardens that face the cottage.

When you enter the cottage you are struck by the special intimacy of this very romantic cottage, You are impressed with the timber ceilings, structural beams and large glass picture windows.
Because the cottage is elevated on the side of a hill, the windows allow you to look across and down upon our stunning garden scenery.
Inside you feel the "airiness" and "lightness" creating an intimate atmosphere surrounded by glass windows; you quickly notice that the gardens and forest are visible from every window.
The interior is designed as open plan living, you move from lounge to kitchen, with the spa alcove a prominent feature of the well planned lounge area.
Whilst there is not an open fire place, the large Coonara log wood fire (with big glass window for maximum visual effect) is just as warm and cosy. (easy to light and safe to use) The fire place is central to the cottage and creates the air of romance be it in the lounge, spa alcove, kitchen or bedroom.
The spa is also central to the living area, and is set between the inviting lounge and the enticing bed. The spa, lounge, bed are all in the intimate visual space, so the rest is left to your imagination.
The lounge room has a spacious comfortable lounge and cushions.
The kitchen is equipped with; gas hot plates, electric oven, microwave, fridge and the usual cutlery, dishes, glasses, the kitchen area has kitchen cupboards, sink and dining table.
The bedroom has a Queen bed.
The private ensuite/bathroom comes off the lounge area and has a separate toilet.
Air-conditioning, mood lighting, all the entertainment equipment you need such as TV,DVD's etc is on hand for your enjoyment, or you can laze away some quiet times on the cosy verandah enjoying some quality wine in the natural vista of the gardens.
A romantic dinner hamper delivered to your cottage is the finishing touch to your dream experience.
The cottage has a mini bar for your convenience, a large selection of videos at reception and has access to laundry facilities and public phone.
The car park is deliberately a short distance at the bottom of the garden to ensure those precious morning sleeps remain undisturbed.
