Tourism Awards
There is a number of industry and tourism related awards (national awards & state awards), which are designed to test a number of factors in a business, the tests designed so that they apply to a large business as well as a small business.
The awards can be structured at various levels catering for all interest groups.
- Local regional awards
- Victorian State tourism awards conducted by Tourism Victoria.
- Victorian State tourism awards conducted by HMAA The Hotel Motel Accommodation Association which is both a State and National organization.
- The National awards which are limited to State awards winners in any one year.
All seven states winners compete against each other to be judged the Australian Tourism Award winner.
Local awards are conducted by the regional tourism body for the interests of the local tourism association as a lead into the much more detailed state awards.

Each entry must answer a specific number of questions that applies to events or activities that occurred during the financial year under review in a bound submission with no more than 30 pages.
During the process the judges also visit the property to ensure the claims made in the submission are true and correct.

The rewards we get in to growing the business succesfully far out-ways the award certificates we hang on our reception wall.
