Tranquillity Cottage is an intimate cottage with open plan living style and loft bedroom.
Getting there
After you leave reception, you follow the directions along a path that takes you to an aged steel bridge that crosses Monreale brook.
Cross the bridge, pass the remnants of the old apple orchard and the cottage appears before you, surrounded by tree ferns, with a facade of mature Senkaki Japanes maples.
It is not long before you can feel the secluded in a tranquil tree fern grotto.
The cottage has a cosy verandah at the front door which overlooks the tree fern lined brook and the gardens that face the cottage.

When you enter the cottage you are struck by the cosiness and intimacy of this romantic cottage, the stained timbers of the staircase that rise to the loft bedroom, the structural ceiling beams and timber panelled walls.
You feel the openness of the living space encased in glass windows; you quickly notice that the gardens and forest are visible from every window.
The interior is designed as open plan living, you move from lounge to kitchen, with the spa alcove being a prominent feature of the well planned lounge area.
Whilst there is not an open fire place, the large Coonara log wood fire (with big glass window for maximum visual effect) is just as warm and cosy. (easy to light and safe to use) The fire place is central to the cottage and creates the air of romance be it in the lounge, spa alcove, kitchen or bedroom.
The spa is also central to the living area, and has picture windows that show a vista of the outside tree fern glade. At night an outside light illuminates this garden area to further enhance the romantic atmosphere for your special occasion.
The lounge room has spacious comfortable lounges and cushions.
The kitchen is equipped with; gas hot plates, electric oven, microwave, fridge and the usual cutlery, dishes, glasses, the kitchen area has kitchen cupboards, sink and dining table.
The loft bedroom has a Queen bed.
The private ensuite and toilet are located on the ground floor.
Air-conditioning, mood lighting, all the entertainment equipment you need such as TV,DVD's etc is on hand for your enjoyment, or you can laze away some quiet times on the verandah enjoying some quality wine in the natural vista of the gardens and surrounding forest.
A romantic dinner hamper delivered to your cottage is the finishing touch to your dream experience.
The cottage has a mini bar for your convenience, a large selection of videos at reception and has access to laundry facilities and public phone.
The car park is deliberately a short distance at the bottom of the garden to ensure those precious morning sleeps remain undisturbed.
